There are many local transport lines with stations close to Aula der Wissenschaften

Subway stations:

• U3: Stubentor, 2-minute walk
• U1: Stephansplatz, 7-minute walk
• U4: Schwedenplatz, 9-minute walk

Tram/streetcar stations:

• Line 2: Stubentor, 2-minute walk
• Line 1 & 17: Julias Raab Platz, 10-minute walk
• Linie 1 & 2: Schwedenplatz, 9-minute walk

Bus:

• Line 3A: Riemergasse, right in front of Aula der Wissenschaften
• Line 2a: Rotenturmstraße, 6-minute walk

From Vienna Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), the venue is best reached via the U1 subway
line (Südtiroler Platz – Stephansplatz). In order to arrive on time for the start of the event at
09:30, we recommend the following train connections, depending on the place of departure:

• Graz Hbf – Vienna Hbf | 06:26 – 09:02 | RJ 72
• Salzburg Hbf – Vienna Hbf | 06:01 – 09:03 | RJX 761

If you are arriving by plane, you can offset your CO2 emissions through compensation
payments. Suitable platforms include: myclimate.org or climateaustria.at.

Alternatively, the Aula der Wissenschaften can also be easily reached by bike. To find the best route for your journey, visit fahrradwien.at. There you will find useful information on cycle paths, parking facilities and current traffic conditions for cyclists in Vienna.

If possible, please choose an environmentally certified hotel (e.g. Austrian Ecolabel, European Ecolabel, EMAS, etc.) near the event location. A list of certified accommodations ca be found here.

During the event, please take care to avoid waste and to separate and dispose of unavoidable waste accordingly. Please do not print out your admission ticket, but present it in digital form at the registration desk.
