Accessibility Statement

The Climate Fund is undertaking efforts to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, to make it accessible without barriers.

This declaration on accessibility refers to www.thegreen100.at.

Status of compliance with the requirements

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is partially compatible with conformity level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a. Disproportionate load
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform Youtube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that remedying this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations.
We are endeavoring to provide alternatives for time-based media as text.

b. The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation Content from third parties, for example studies or presentation materials from external speakers that are not within the sphere of influence of the Climate and Energy Fund, are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with accessibility provisions.
